Re: Scanning a Book for a lonely world traveler - $40

That book is less than 300 pages according to Amazon UK. The book costs £6 (about $10), so it would probably be cheaper, easier, and you would get a better-quality scan by buying it and scanning it destructively. You can check my website: www.rustee-technologies.com

Re: New Portable Scanner "Pazuzu"

Doesn't the use of a counterweight defeat the purpose of building a lightweight scanner? You'd probably be better off using a tension spring. It's lighter, cheaper, and it would reduce inertia as well.

Ha ha, so I am talking rubbish... Thanks for being polite enough not to say it directly. Looking forward to your next versions of ScanTailor.

Re: ST suggestions and feature requests go here.

Hello, everybody, first of all I want to say thank you to Tulon for this fantastic piece of software called ScanTailor. Tulon, I'm a big fan of yours, and if you ever come up to Stoke, all drinks are on me, and you can sleep with my sister as well. (Only joking, ha ha; I haven't got a sister.) I've ...

Re: Post something about yourself here (The Hello Thread)

Hi, everybody, my name is Joaquin and I'm from Asturias*, Spain, but I live in Stoke-on-Trent, England, at the moment. I don't like to give people a hard time with foreign names, so I let everybody call me Jack (in fact, I like that name more than Joaquin). I finished a degree in maths from UC Berke...
