Re: BookScanWizard 2.0

ScaleToFirst: that does not change anything if crop is created according to the video, copying the same rectangle, does it? (I keep it, I just want to understand if there is any difference.)

Re: BookScanWizard 2.0

Hi Steve! OK, for some weird reason I thought that "Pages" with increasing start numbers is equivalent to "StartPage" sequences. And I thought there is a kind of "specificity", the best match works from the Perspective commands. Despite seeing the warning in the documentation.. sorry about that. The...

Re: BookScanWizard 2.0

Do you mainly run the 32 or the 64 bit version? I'd use the same to avoid differences. I did these latest tests with 64bits.

Re: BookScanWizard 2.0

Do you think negative coordinates are OK in any cases? Crop = 1150,-3457, 3154,-248 I get such things for simply marking an area on the page and Crop. Especially when I try to open my original project. If you could to take a look please, I've uploaded the whole thing as gozgep2.tar on URL below (300...

Re: BookScanWizard 2.0

Another thing, before I forget: ./bsw Error: Unable to access jarfile ./bsw/../BookScanWizard.jar I always need to modify the bash script to remove "$0/../" part and keep only the file name alone. Re latest update: Did you add any extra package requirement in this update? I can run my older 2.0.1a, ...

Re: BookScanWizard 2.0

I tried both webstart32 and webstart64, same results. For easier access to documentation can you please add a link from normal Wiki to your Mediawiki? It's difficult to find the right wiki. http://sourceforge.net/p/bookscanwizard/wiki/Home/ And links to the BSW guides (in this forum) would be also v...

Re: BookScanWizard 2.0

Thank you for the detailed answer about rotation! Something strange happened with the coordinates, when I copy my previous coordinates the selection box goes below the image. When I create a new box at right place, it gives negative coordinates. Original: Perspective = 943,703, 3139,703, 3095,3880, ...

Re: BookScanWizard 2.0

Hi Steve! That image looks excellent, congratulations and many thanks. I tried with your example and this, gives wonderful results! I can confirm it remembers the "tips" checkbox and last folder used. Config file is saved in net/sourceforge/bookscanwizard/prefs.xml, looks OK. Problems: When I try Au...

Re: Learning to Create Tiny DJVU files

Thanks for sharing that Richard. It was interesting to see how you turned away from DjVu to PDF. What is others' opinion on DjVu? Is it still worth to spend time on it? I like the format very much and the free tools available. I think there are good reader tools on mobile OSes too. I saw Daniel wrot...

Re: BookScanWizard 2.0

Hi Steve! Ok, thank you for answers! The program creates the following preference file on exit: ~/.java/.userPrefs/_!'4!~@"0!#4!cw"v!(`!cg"j!'`!~g"v!()!~w"l!#4!}g"v!'8!aw"z!':!}@"u!(c!a@"6!'%!cg"k/perfs.xml Maybe in PerfsHelper private static final Preferences prefs = Preferences.userRoot().node(Pre...
