Re: Introducing djvubind for djvu file creation

In between building the scanner I have been trying the software process to learn it. I used scan tailor with no problem and it seemed to work fine. 1st problem: I tried to install djvubind and Ubuntu 12.04 say can not be installed. Could be that I have 64bit system?. Is there anything I missed or ot...

Re: All threads that mention LiveCD/Linux development

Ok. I just started playing around with the process today myself.

So I'm still a ways out.

I get the photo's taken, and used scan tailor on them. Next to read up how to get all the tiffs into pdf etc.

Thanks

Re: First build with automatic dewarping

Ah, OK. Scan Tailer... I already have Scan Tailer 0.9.10, I thought this was something different.

I like the way it slipts two pages and was trying to setup a single camera like the russian one that uses mirrors
to reflect both pages to the camera.

Thanks

Re: Monson's Servo Auto Scanner

Not selfish, Every so offten I do the same thing. Pictures you are posting help a lot as it moves forward. The code would be great if you recover it. I'm familiyar with "C" but not enough to do it myself yet. So far I'm only able to get a motor to turn forward & backward is as far as I...

Thanks.

Re: All threads that mention LiveCD/Linux development

and if that's ok, send message.

Thanks

Re: All threads that mention LiveCD/Linux development

Did this ever get finished? Have you found a place to host the ISO? If not have you tried sourceforge.com? or asking ubuntu? I would host it on my home linux server for you but it's not able to handle a lot of traffic. One or two connections at a time would be about it. To many streams could bring d...
