I would consider this for old book, as it m...

Really nice.
Beside the image lens capability, the smooth line feature capability may be of use when dealing with character rasterization.
In the same vein, I wonder if somebody already explored the new OpenCV 3 functionalities. The python port is just out, have not time yet to test this.

There is no real craddle but 2 separates free parts of it, this will impact the stability of the location of the image. The book will move, the craddles may move. You may fix that with moving the ...

A very good soft, the best so far to prepare images for archive.org.
I appreciated a lot the control on the output size and the dewarping which provided good results even on badly distorted image.
I hope to see more update.

Nothing changes : As soon as I put the command into single or double escaped bracket, I got the function errors. Can you post a command that works on your setting. Actually with all the failures, I am not even sure of what should be code. If I remove the enclosing non-escaped double quotes, I get th...

Re: Bitonal conversion using Photoshop (Gimp & Imagemagic...
Double quotes around the parentheses result in 'illegal function'. Simple quote and quadruple quotes results in 'batch command executed successfully' but nothing produced. Writing 'C:\Documents and Settings\P0957\.gimp-2.8\pluginrc' Starting extension: 'extension-script-fu' No batch interpreter spec...

Re: Bitonal conversion using Photoshop (Gimp & Imagemagic...

I am trying this: :\app\ocr\GIMPPortable\App\gimp\bin\gimp-console-2.8.exe -i -f -d --verbose -b (bitonal-converter-batch 'C:\data\perma\tmp4\ok1' 'jpg' 'tif' 20 220 0.67 6 1 1 1 33 240 120) -b "(gimp-q...
