Re: Has BSW been abandonded?
I've been thinking of putting together a HTML and JavaScript UI to perform the same kind of functions. In all honesty i was merely using BSW to grab data points to feed to my own batch files that i used with image magic. The great thing about using a HTML java script wizard would be that others coul...

Has BSW been abandonded?
Hi, getting back into some scanning and am trying to process some books, it looks like BSW has been abandoned. The webstarts aren't working and the last update for the downloadable version was in 2012. Is this so?
If so has anything taken it's place?

Re: Introducing spreads: command-line workflow tool
What is the prejudice that windows users have for command line? I'm working on a similar complete workflow setup using windows power shell scripts. I figure most of the people i want to "Convert" to bookscanning are using windows 7, so i'm wanting to hand them a somewhat complete solution,...

Basic Tool to assist image magic
HI, I'm working on developing a workflow similar to that used in book scan wizzard. (I'm using windows 8), but i need a simple little image viewer that will let me draw polygons in a layer over the image and then copy the points over into my script file, as you can in Book scan wizzard. At the momen...

Re: New Version of Book Scan Wizard
I've been using the downloaded version, ie the zip from source forge. Using windows 8 on Samsung slate 7. So i think its a dual core, 1.7 ghz.
The images are 8 mega pixel. I'm going to try the web start version and see how that goes.

Re: Here's my one, let me know what you think.
I've pumped through a ton of books. More than enough for now atleast. The biggest problem i had was that one of the cammeras would keep resetting its zoom if you stopped for too long, and its resolution was right on the edge of acceptable. That combined with the fact that the lowering the platten in...
