Need Tech Help: Sheet-fed scanner maintenance/squeaking

I have a sheet fed scanner, a Canon DR-2010C and here are my problems: 1) lately it has began to squeak when scanning. Does anyone know how to fix this/lubricate the rollers that are squeaking? What do I use to lubricate them with? As long as I know the lubricant, I will just lubricate everything. 2...

All the books I have cut up and scanned are either duplicate copies I bought as I knew constant reference would wear out the first copy, or are cheap books picked up off of ebay or in charity shops. I would hate to be without books around me but see this as a way of having the books I need for refe...
