DIY Book Scanner

Does all of the confuguration information that is generated when you run "spread configure" end up in config.yaml? I noticed there doesn't seem to be any kind of "autofocus" switch in there.

Hmmm... spomwii's photos may be focusing correctly, but mine definitely aren't, at least not consistently. Any ideas about what might be causing this? I need to pack up the kit for the conference on Wednesday, and I'd like to show off something OCR-able. Can I go into CHDK and force autofocus off so...

OK, other than the focusing issue, I think pretty much everything is working. I've gotten Internet Connection Sharing to work on my Mac laptop, so I can control the RPi directly via an ethernet patch cable. This is so fantastic. I've been daydreaming about the potential for Raspberry Pi + Spreads + DIY Scanner, and you guys went ahead and did it! I just picked up two A1400s and I'll let you know how it goes.
