@Jerzy, if you are able to test a new CHDK version I can try to add support for filewrite task.
I need to know the firmware version of your cameras, after that I'll post a test version to chdk forum.

Re: Mirrorless DSLR for bookscanning
Canon EOS M10 and EOS M3 are built on the P&S codebase, then it is possible to port CHDK for them. Probably, in the future, those models can be supported by spreads, TwoCamControl and Pi Scan.

Re: Camera's no longer working.
Good to know CHDK was not the cause of the problem.
There is a CHDK hack to ignore battery switch door, but it has not been implemented for your camera. If you are willing to test it, I can send you a patched version.

Re: Camera's no longer working.
Now that I see the voltage of the batteries I suspect that your cameras are SD1400IS, not A1400. CHDK does not make permanent changes to your camera, and it does not write to camera firmware (not intentionally) but it is a hack, then bugs are possible. There are some reports of failures here:...

That's weird. There are not reports of Canon A1400 bricked by using CHDK.
Could you check the voltage level of your power adapter?

Re: A Standard Camera and Electronics Pack
[*]1x Small Mirror (For camera callibration)[/list] I have not experience with camera calibration, I don't know how to use the mirror. Is there any documentation for that? If camera calibration means camera alignment, with CHDK it's possible to draw a grid on LCD, there are default grids on standar...

Note: For now use chdkptp version r547. Versions r592 to r650 has a bug that breaks TwoCamControl.

Re: Reconfigure Cards
It's possible to use the serial number to select the camera, e.g.:
Code: Select all
