Re: using Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 (1080p)

I am also looking for webcam and I found this:

http://www.hootoo.com/y101-black-usb-20 ... 84407.html

The spec say it can take 1280x1024 but I am not sure if it is for still photos. I am thinking setup a webcam to use on my desk to capture the book cover only.

Re: Preassembled bookscanner available?

I can offer you my scanner. I am going to build the second one (a smaller design). Just give me your address. I do not like it because it is rather big.

Re: What is the ideal size for a platen?

I have the same doubt also. I think I will go for A4. Which will also capture some big reports and magazines.

Old books seems bigger.

Portability

This is what look when the scanner is disambled. The frame is 60x100cm.

It can take photo of bigger then A4 size. And the current size can be reduced.

Re: Help verify my design

http://kentsin.snaplog.com/:IbE/santo_antonio Update the progress, I am waiting for lighting work. And one mistake found: the two camera is not center. The left and right should not be centered. I will try to figure out the difference. I will try to make some scanning without the lights. Any one can...
