Thank you for your reply. I know that my D3300 are not Mirrorless. I wanted to add just the link for the software here and give you an idea of how my workflow is. I also have chosen these cameras to go for A3 scanning of some of my art-books.

hi, i am currently using 2 Nikon d3300 with the bulk objective. triggering them with http://digicamcontrol.com via usb. scanned roughly 20000 pages so far without errors. for color correction I use Adobe Lightroom. Short update: Tested digicamcontrol today with 2 dslr cams. Menu to trigger both/multiple cameras at the same time was a bit hidden (top right corner hit the "manual/Handbuch" button and a overlay menu will appeared on left and right side where you can activate multi-camera support) and software is ...
