Each time I start the laptop that I'm using for Spreads, I need to locate and kill the GPhoto process or Spreads cannot communicate with the cameras.
ps aux | grep gphoto
kill <ProcessID of GPhoto>
Is anyone aware of any issues with removing GPhoto completely?

I figured out that my cameras, Canon A2500s, have settings in the menu to override the quality settings, so that seems to have bumped up the quality a notch. If anyone is wondering, it is in the Enhanced Photo Operations menu and is labeled Override JPEG Quality.
