The final purpose will be pdf reading and printing a page at a time so I don't have to carry around this massive book. The real value is sheet music later in the book... the full book will bend my portable music stand. The camera zooms, but I was having trouble getting it just right because it wants...

New and not sure where I am going wrong

I have made my cardboard setup and scanned the preface of a book as a test. I have run it through Scan Tailor, but I'm not quite sure what I am doing. I have adjusted all sorts of Scan Tailor settings, but none of them seem right. So it seems my problem is likely either lighting, the camera hardware...
