Replying on my post as I have fixed the Qt path problem. on cmake one can pass a path like so: -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=/opt/Qt/5.6/lib/cmake So my final cmake which compiles fine is: cmake -G "Unix Makefiles" --build .. -DBOOST_ROOT=/usr/local -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH=/opt/Qt/5.6/lib/cmake Make sure it point...

Need some help compiling for Linux Mint (Ubuntu 16). I went through installing the load of libs and hopefully this worked out ok.
