couldn't you just pump the fine dusty air down the toilet? :) maybe with some water sprinkler

or use the dusty air in an oven (dust explosions could be a problem)

Automate camera triggering with CHDK and a script on a computer that autoshoots every three seconds (or other interval). this is what i've used for chdk camera control,
a small warning when you start with chdk
  • there are a lot of race condition
  • memory on this cameras is small, scripts fail often due to memory shortage
chdkptp is an newer client to chdk ptp cams, what i've read it should be faster than ptpcamgui

maybe it is easier to call an standard dll from a cygwin programm, moving the app in cygwin and then calling the sdk functions

where did your read about the gphoto chdk ptp support?
