External Display

Hi, I have two Canon 1100D's and use (Vivitar) wireless shutter release to capture photos on both cameras simultaneously using a single transmitter. But the LCD is just too small for me, so I'm wondering if it would be possible to preview captured images live on some external display - a small 5-7" ...

5) Lighting. I wish I had a more even white color. Any advice is appreciated. You just need to set the white balance on your camera. Set it to "tungsten" - the light bulb icon setting - to start. That should get you most of the way there. Or use an "18% Grey Card" for accurate custom white balance.

Re: Daniel's 5th Generation DIY Book Scanner

You should try and build a scanner similar to Atiz's DIY. You know, I'm not sure why this unhelpful comment is here, but I'm/we're not trying to copy commercial equipment here, we're developing our own technology. Boodrive is not a patented design i beleive, whats the problem then? btw, most builds...

Re: Daniel's 5th Generation DIY Book Scanner

Hello, I'm representing a hackerspace in western NY. We have access to a laser cutter and are looking for up-to-date, reliable build making use of laser cut parts. Has there been any progress with this design or is there another design that meets the above criteria? You should try and build a scann...

Great, that fix solved the errors but still can't complete step 9. Last few lines from scantailor-build/log.txt collect2: ld returned 1 exit status mingw32-make[2]: *** [scantailor.exe] Error 1 mingw32-make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/scantailor.dir/all] Error 2 mingw32-make: *** [all] Error 2 Log attached.

But I can't configure and generate in the next step: http://img806.imageshack.us/img806/6821/capturegh.jpg EDIT: Okay, fixed the error by manually assigning the location to imageproc_tests for QJPG_DEBUG. Then proceeded to next step, but I don't see the installer as mentioned in the readme: If every...
