Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: Scan Tailor Command Line Interface

How can I force scantailor-cli.exe to make all images use the same final dimensions? Do I need to use the img img img syntax instead? Current version of ScanTailor computes page size acording to the largest detected content and sets the same size for all loaded pages. If you process pages one by on...

I'm working on this for ScanTailor right now :-) It will be possible to use this information to keep original page layout. Stay tuned :-)

Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: Scan Tailor Command Line Interface

That was my next question . I had done the -h command and below is what it gave me . I know now im missing things: it's part of "Enhanced" version and wasn't merged into main yet. Checkout http://www.diybookscanner.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1144 for more details on enhanced version and upcomin...

Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: Scan Tailor Command Line Interface

There's limit on the command line length, entering input directory instead of images sounds as a good idea. I'll try to do this asap. You can save your project file with -o=file.ScanTailor option. All those options are described in help if you run scantailor-cli -h from command line, read it please.

Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: Scan Tailor Command Line Interface

Try to set --match-layout-tolerance argument. Setting it to 0 is equal to uncheck "match size with other pages" for all pages. Value about 0.2 should keep similar pages matched and pages with different shape unmatched.

Re: Scan Tailor "Enhanced"

Does "original mode" mean keep page unchanged(not trimmed ,nor enlarged)? Unfortunately it does not prevent original page size yet. I'm planning to implement simple page detection in near future. As a workaround you can estimate and set margins by hand. I use Windows XP. Why I can't run it after in...

See scantailor/packaging/windows/readme.en.txt
I recomend Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition steps, as I wasn't successful with Mingw GCC.

Re: Scan Tailor "Enhanced"

"this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect" That error is usually caused by linking together modules built with different compilers, or even with different patch levels of the same compiler. Sometimes even security updates bump up ABI version of librari...
