Ultimately I'd love to create a self contained unit on a library cart chassis -I'll keep everyone posted if this comes to fruition.

I am fairly certain every Canon Powershot supports real-time video output. The cameras I use do.

The simplest way to discover what you want to know is to read the user manuals for your camera of interest. Almost every manufacturer makes them available online.

karyudo, I'm thinking in those terms, too, so let me know if you come up with anything.

this is a pretty basic cutter -- it can't cut angled lines in Z.

spamsickle -- i'll answer you in detail later. actually it sucks at armor piercing, generally, it's better at piercing things like cardboard and making very accurate plastic bits. basically, if you can make it in a vector or raster graphics package, you can print it out of structural materials like ...
