Re: SpreadPi and Camera config

Thanks for your input. I don't have much knowledge of programming or Javascript or open source but I'll try and figure out what you mean and come up with the logfiles when I can.

Re: SpreadPi and Camera config

I have just installed the latest CHDK builds for Canon Powershot A810 100e cameras, and the latest Spreadpi for my Raspberry Pi Model B. I'm running them in a standalone setup with a 3Com router that provides the LAN. I have succesfully accessed the Spreadpi GUI, entering the startup screen and the ...

Re: Spreads Problems and Solutions

The attachment with this message contains a zipped json file of debugging logs from my scan session. I hope it can shed some light on the problem. Accessing the Pi with SSH has proven a problem since the default password and login don't work - and it's not a qwerty/azerty-issue. I'm going to have to...

Re: Spreads Problems and Solutions

That sounds pretty much identical to my current setup. Can you share a debugging log from one of you workflows? You can get it from the web interface. Also, which version of the SpreadPi image are you using? I completely rewrote the CHDK driver two weeks ago, maybe that has something to do with it?...

Re: Spreads Problems and Solutions

Thanks for your swift and helpful reply. The keypedal is attached to the Pi, either directly or via the PiHub USB-hub. There are no other input devices attached to it. A router is connected to its ethernet port to create a LAN through which the computer accesses the webinterface. I use the webinterf...

Re: Spreads Problems and Solutions

Hello, I have the problem that the camera triggers go off twice at a regular interval of ca. 7 seconds every time I use the keypedal. That means almost every intended capture is followed by an unintended one, which creates a lot of useless images. I have posted this problem in the Camera dual trigge...

Re: Camera dual triggering

Since this is not a camera problem I would like to continue the debate on the trigger interval settings in the Spreads and Spreadpi Problems and Solutions thread.

Re: Post something about yourself here (The Hello Thread)

Hello Dave and fellow builders, My name is Bart. I'm a former journalist and trained librarian working as a civil servant for the Belgian Justice Department. To earn my libraran's degree I have built the New Standard 2 from a full kit and modified it into a semi standalone scanner intended for digit...

Re: Announcing the Archivist Scanner and a Beta Program!

I like the look of the modifications, but would rather improve the scanner I have Same here, especially since I've come some way in turning the New Standard 2 into a half decent standalone already. In my very humble opinion, since the platen and cradle are bigger, it seems you'd need a new central ...

Re: Has BSW been abandonded?

I've installed it only a couple of months ago using Java, not webstart, and it works like a charm. Steve did a great job. It took some getting used to for me because I've never worked with open source/Java/command line interface before. I'm looking forward to testing the Internet Archives upload. Of...
