Re: [0.9.11 Win32] Hotkeys

Deleting (or hiding) the translation folder contents fixes it. I don't know why.

Re: [0.9.11 Win32] Hotkeys

I don't know why it stopped working here. That's weird. Maybe it has something to do with the Spanish translation module. I wonder what will happen if I delete language files.

[0.9.11 Win32] Hotkeys

Hello.

I have been using 0.9.11 today. I have noticed that hotkeys aren't working for me. For instance, Home, End, CTRL-S seem to do just nothing.

Can anyone confirm?

Any ideas? I uninstalled 0.9.10 and I did a clean installation afterwards (3 different computers).

0.9.11 Typo in Spanish translation

Hello.

I don't know if this goes here. Anyway.

I have noticed a small typo in the Spanish transaltion for ST 0.9.11

If you hit ABOUT -> where it says "erramienta" -> it should be HERRAMIENTA = Tool

Best regards.

Re: PNG output

Thanks Tulon.

I asked because latest Paint Shop Pro X4 has an issue saving TIFF files.

PNG output

Hello.

Just the stupid question of today.

Is there any way for ST to output PNG files instead of TIFF? I guess not without recompiling (this is the rhetorical part).

Re: B/W source - how to keep format?

I have came up with a nerdy workaround workflow that will prove useful to me + Scan at 300dpi b/w or 3bpp colour using error-diffusion + apply some soften filters until image appears nice and convert it to grayscale/true colour (taking advantage of the human visual system) + apply some unsharp mask ...

Re: B/W source - how to keep format?

Thanks Tulon. I didn't take into account rotating operations using other than 90º angles.

As for Mixed Mode I admit I have made just a few tests. I will take this option into consideration for further testing.

Re: B/W source - how to keep format?

Tulon and everyone. Thank you very much for your replies but I think you misunderstood me. Size is not a "big" problem. My main concern is resolution. I want to scan at 600dpi but my scanner won't go beyond 425dpi in grayscale mode. Another issue that I have is that it only uses JPEG compression for...
