The...

Decapod

Has anyone seen this project?

http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Decapod

It seems that it is not working for most of the cameras (they have only tried with two Nikons and one Canon, Powershot G10).

Re: Cameras for the Hackerspace Scanner

I have bought now canon SX130 IS, we have installed CHDK and it seems to be working, but we are going to make further tests when we finish the part of building the scanners.

What kind of examples? Like dewarped images?

I do like five or seven books a day, I guess I can take out some of the images I get with ST and put them over here.

Re: Site Reorganization (HELP PLEASE)

I wouldn't put the LiveCD project in "application specific", BSW and ST are programs and the LiveCD project is an operating system.
but I agree with everything else.

Re: Site Reorganization (HELP PLEASE)

we don't like the way it's organised. any suggestions? there are a lot of threads about deskew/dewarping/margins/output formats, but none of this is enough to make a subforum for each of them. Daniel has posted a list of steps of book scanning, maybe it can help you thinking!

You can make it a private section.

Thanks to you Dan, for all the work you put to this and the diy book scanning project.
