Re: Twocamcontrol disconnecting my camera

Doublecheck that you have LibUSB installed for both cameras on the Laptop. Windows can in some situa...

Re: Missing libusb0.dll
Hi, yes you need Libusb installed for both cameras for chdkptp and TwoCamControl to work. See https://github.com/nod5/TwoCamControl#dependencies , which link to the instruction here http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/PTP_Extension#LibUSB_Driver_for_Windows on how to use the free program Zadiq to install Lib...

Re: Any way to convert book scans into PDF with vector text?
Do you know if this is only program with this feature? I don't know any other that has it, though I haven't tested ABBYY and some similar competitors in a long time so there might be something out there. https://github.com/ncraun/smoothscan is an opensource attempt but is far from Acrobat in text q...

Re: Any way to convert book scans into PDF with vector text?
Adobe Acrobat Pro has a good vectorization/"fontirization" feature. It was previously called ClearScan but now the option is called "Editable text and images". Read more about it here http://blogs.adobe.com/acrolaw/2009/05/better_pdf_ocr_clearscan_is_smal/ https://forums.adobe.co...
