auto glass?

Built a scanner? Started to build a scanner? Record your progress here. Doesn't need to be a whole scanner - triggers and other parts are fine. Commercial scanners are fine too.

Speaking of glassless designs, has anyone considered using clamps on the edge of the pages? Check out this book holder: http://www.easy-read.com/ After I started using one of these I found that I can actually turn pages very quickly. The clamps would have to be adjustable of course...
