Scanner with only one camera

Built a scanner? Started to build a scanner? Record your progress here. Doesn't need to be a whole scanner - triggers and other parts are fine. Commercial scanners are fine too.

Scanner with only one camera

Post by gutto12 »

Hi Guys!!
I started a scanning project with a Fujitsu SV600, but anyone who knows knows that the scan is slow and the software leaves something to be desired. I recently made a "V" cradle not deep to reduce the distortions and flatten the pages, (files SV01 e SV02)... Now I'm building a scanner with just one camera, and I'd like to share it in the forum for more cool ideas.

At first I got some ideas from Antoha: ttps: //forum.diybookscanner.org/viewtopic.php? T = 175
And some ideas from other people and topics as I researched a lot,  ...

New Scanner:

The figure "NEW03" shows the new cradle with memory foam, and the glass is a refrigerator shelf (only one hinge is needed).

I'm thinking now of making a crib and V and putting Voussoir to run ...

For now it will be with only one camera (Canon EOS T6i), here in Brazil these cameras are very expensive, something around almost 1,000K, about 3,800 reais, in my currency...

Now I'm thinking of making a V-crib, instead of the flat crib, and putting VOUSSOIR to run, what do you guys think? viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3412&p=20586&hilit=voussoir#p20586

I'm open to suggestions and sorry for the mistakes, I use google translate.

Hug to everyone! ;)

Yesterday I had a day off, and tired of my project, I decided to modify. I bought an iron bar, I cut, I punched, I screwed up, and that's the result ...
Some adjustment and alignment is missing. I did some testing, and the images captured and then processed on ScanTailor were great !! :D

I'm not able to add image file, so I'm saving in PDF.

If someone has some problem, feel free!
