Wish List for Scanning Camera

Post by jck57 » 16 Aug 2012, 21:37

Which features should the ideal text scanning camera have? Which features are unnecessary?

To start I will offer:

1. Manual focus
2. Jack for remote shutter switch
3. 12 megapixel
4. Capacity for tethered operation and instant transfer to computer

Not necessary:

1. SLR mirror
2. Automatic features for other than text capture uses
3. Movie recording
