Setting White Balance

Post by barnaclebarnes »

I've got my Archivist setup basically working but my shots are coming out yellow. From what I've read I need to set the white balance to Tungsten (I'm using Canon SX170 cameras). I set the white balance on the camera but when using the scanning software I will get yellow pages. Is there somewhere in the CHDK/Spreads setup where I can set the white balance? Some config file I need to edit?

Spreads sets the white balance on the camera. When creating a new workflow or editing the options of an existing workflow, there is a checkbox you can click to show advanced options. The white balance option is one of the advanced options.

Hope this helps.

I don't know how I missed that! Now I have crips white paper instead of yellow ;-)

Thanks!
