I'm not sure sure of the utility of the switch. A pushbutton would be better, and one that is not on the battery pack so that the button could be mounted elsewhere.

You are right Rob, I had not thought of that. I'm not going to be using
batteries or it would still be a good deal before shipping and would be
easy to add a push button to. I may still buy one if I order anything else from
them just to have a backup. I find anytime I rely on one thing it always
fails at the worst time so I really like to back up everything possible. I've also
been to a few places with very limited outlets so a battery pack would be useful
(TN Archives for example).
I carry lots of batteries when I'm out working so that's not a problem.
