WiFi Cameras

Post by elbourne »

I am looking at building my first DIY Book Scanner rig. I'm considering a WiFi enabled camera like the Canon PowerShot SX720 HS .

What do y'all think? Has anyone tried that?

It would be nice to control it remotely and not have to mess with USB cables, transferring images with an SD card, and all that. I'm not sure how to control both cameras at once, but I'm sure there is a way to work that out.

Does Canon's app (Canon Camera Connect) support multiple cameras? If you have a V-shaped cradle and two wifi-enabled cameras, can you control both from one phone ur tablet?
