what light/lamp sets should I use for the book scanner that I'm planning to make of my own with one glass board, one wooden board, two metal supporters?

I don't really know your setup. I use two cheap halogens from home depot. They are shop-lamp styles with big dome reflectors. Daniel has some videos out there (on youtube I think) showing how it's important that your light be high enough and bright enough, or else you get a double reflection problem. Some people have had success with LEDS. And of course if you're lucky enough to have some sort of indirect lighting setup I think that would be best. Sorry no great recommendations, but maybe someone else will chime in. If not, create a new thread; this thread is old.
