Sorry for the bad typing, using an iPad. Here's the official press release in Dutch:

Nogmaals onze excuses.
Vriendelijke Groet,

Konrad van den Bosch

Just a little update: it seems finally that the book saver is going to be coming to the netherlands half to end of May. A little earlier than expected. The pre-order customers will be served first and will receive a €50 gift voucher for Snapfish for their patience. The design will include the tent, as briefly advertised in the US version. There will be no software included. Didn't see any mention of an included sd card, so that will probably also not be included, but who knows. I' ll let you know when I'll receive mine.

And again a newsflash: delay!
Now estimated end of June, with no guarantee from the factory that they are actually going to be done with
quality control
But well, another month and a half waiting for a product is common these days I guess???

For the other poster: I think they can ship abroad too, no idea how much they charge you for the shipping, but don't expect to pay
too much to European countries, maybe €10-15.

Indeed, the ION Book Saver is now on sale in Europe for 149 € (roughly $200). Free delivery in Benelux. "Available with short notice" (Beschikbaarheid Snel leverbaar), whatever that means? Has anybody bought one, and can you report your experience?

The English page says "out of stock", and at the same time available in mid June,
http://www.iononline.nl/book-saver.html

On the news page, they wrote on April 28 that the factory estimated delivery on June 20, allowing 6-8 days extra for quality inspection on arrival. This and earlier Book Saver updates were signed by Konrad van den Bosch.

This is excellent!

I too would like to hear any reviews by purchasers, and info about sales to the US.

And another update/delay:

http://www.iononline.nl/news/

Pushed back to new information on July 13th, that means no products yet!
Seems they were unhappy with "scan quality", whatever that may mean for a SCANNER, haha
