A lunatic could build his own own e-book reader using one of these: http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2011/0 ... ays_1.html.

If you did, I'd buy one. Or even a kit. This is one of those exciting things about the time we live in. It is altogether possible that someone could gin up a 3-D printed case and have something that looks as nice as a piece of commercial gear.
