Has anyone seen this project?

It seems that it is not working for most of the cameras (they have only tried with two Nikons and one Canon, Powershot G10).

We've had a few threads about it. Personally, I regard it as very, very slow moving or possibly vaporware/academic researchware. Also their hardware design disregards all the usual problems like glare, the reflection of the camera, lighting, etc.
