I would expect this type of error if the image file was moved or re-named between the time the program was started and before the time the Finish button was pressed. Are either of these a possibility?

Nope, neither moving or re-naming the files. I click pdf & then i don't touch the computer.
I have 1 drive with multiple partitions. All my document files are on a different partition as the system. I tried as a test to put the images on the system partition & running pagebuilder from there..but same result.
Any other ideas? perhaps it won't work for me for some reason.
and what's up with the inconsistent locale message? do i have to set my computer regional settings to United States?

I noticed the error finding mclmcrrt70.dll may be due to the version of MatLab installed. The one linked to on the site is the version with the file mclmcrrt77.dll. Just a thought.
