Thanks Toulon for creating this software, however, I can't use it and I can find no instructions anywhere. I think that would seriously help. Maybe even a youtube video. I don't even know what DPI is. Thanks

Actually the Download page on the official website has a link to a tutorial video.
Scan Tailor experimental doesn't output 96 DPI images. It's just what your software shows when DPI information is missing. Usually what you get is input DPI times the resolution enhancement factor.
