PNG output

Post by eL_PuSHeR » 20 Oct 2011, 02:49

Hello.

Just the stupid question of today.

Is there any way for ST to output PNG files instead of TIFF? I guess not without recompiling (this is the rhetorical part).

Only TIFF is supported. Scan Tailor output is meant to be intermediate and disposable material, so that shouldn't matter.

More info here:

Scan Tailor experimental doesn't output 96 DPI images. It's just what your software shows when DPI information is missing. Usually what you get is input DPI times the resolution enhancement factor.

Thanks Tulon.

I asked because latest Paint Shop Pro X4 has an issue saving TIFF files.
