0.9.11 Typo in Spanish translation

Post by eL_PuSHeR » 18 Jan 2012, 03:23

Hello.

I don't know if this goes here. Anyway.

I have noticed a small typo in the Spanish transaltion for ST 0.9.11

If you hit ABOUT -> where it says "erramienta" -> it should be HERRAMIENTA = Tool

Best regards.

Thanks, fixed.
Scan Tailor experimental doesn't output 96 DPI images. It's just what your software shows when DPI information is missing. Usually what you get is input DPI times the resolution enhancement factor.

I have found several more typos:

menu pane on the left:

Corregiro Orientacion -> Corregir Orientación

Margenes -> Márgenes

Crear una caja de contenido -> Crear un recuadro de contenido

Eliminar caja de contenido -> Eliminar recuadro de contenido

Also, Insert pages in project and remove pages from project is left unstranslated.

Best regards.

Can you make these fixes yourself? I've just moved house, so I have many things to take care of, and on top of that I am stuck with mobile broadband for the next several weeks.

You would need the latest Scan Tailor source code (official website -> download page) and a program called Qt Linguist. You use it to open translations/scantailor_es.ts file in Scan Tailor source code, make your fixes, then post an updated *.ts file here.

Of course. I will try to help.

I will try to download these these afternoon, after returning from work.

I will keep you posted on how it goes.

Flavio Benelli, the original author of the Spanish translation sent me an updated version. I checked the first couple of typos you reported, and they were fixed. He might have come across this thread. I committed the changes to Git and they will be included in new versions.

Thanks Tulon (and Mr. Benelli too).

I am quite busy right now.
