It works well however I am not sure if it is just me but the "Page Layout" section when selecting "apply to all pages" does not seem to work or take effect.
That was indeed a bug. I fixed it and made a new release.
Most of the changes in the new version have to do with OpenCL support (check the Settings dialog). Don't expect any miracles from it though.
Scan Tailor experimental doesn't output 96 DPI images. It's just what your software shows when DPI information is missing. Usually what you get is input DPI times the resolution enhancement factor.

Thanks for update :D

after test, I notice that if the page has little content it create blank page in BW and grayscale with equalize illumination mode, and if finished the project and close when open the project again have to re-run select content or margins (other versions have no problem).

This version is producing funny results. First it outputs pages with 96 dpi. Second, Finereader is having trouble with some pages. For some reason it's detecting half dpi for some pages, double dpi for others. The net result is that when you view the PDF with two pages per screen, one page is 1/4 the size of the other, making it impossible to read because one page is miniature on screen.

I'll take a look into the issue with small content box later today.

As for output DPIs, Scan Tailor no longer puts that information into the output files. Various utilities will often display some default value or the DPI of your screen in such a case. I believe the value of 96 you see is such a default. Essentially, you will have to explicitly tell the correct DPI to whatever program you use to generate PDFs.

Shinomura,

I wasn't able to reproduce your issue. Can you make a screen-cast demonstrating it?

Shinomura,

The page that comes out as blank, how does it look at "Geometric Distortions" and "Select Content" stages?

Shunomura,

If you create a project consisting of a single page with little content in it, do you still see this issue? If so, can you upload the original image of such a page somewhere?
