Hi,
I am quite new to ScanTailor, but I already love it .
In the attached screenshot the purple color shows what ScanTailor identified as a Picture Zone. But indeed, those areas are just light-grey discolorations coming from the scan.
I assume this can result in some issues, when I later chose "Split output" (in order to distinguish between text and image areas, which should be separated to create djvu-files.
Any idea, how I can avoid that such discolorations will be regarded as picture-zone?
Thanks in advance for any hints!
Light grey areas wrongly defined as Picture Zones

After playing around, I found at least one factor, which influences this behavior:
In the output menu, section "Picture shape" there is the option "Higher search sensitivity" --> if that is activated, I see the problem as described above.

Hallo Alexander
Wenn du den Modus von Mixed auf Schwarz/Weiss änderst sollte das Problem behoben sein.
Change the Mode to B&W will solve your Problem.
