My personal feeling is, I'm not sure that there would be a reason to port ScanTailor to Android or iOS. Those devices have less space and less processing power than a computer, and everyone has one of those -- or, at least anyone who wants to scan books.
Is there a specific use-case you are thinking about?

It would be a tool to promote and grow the same. There are already some programs for Android to this, as Camscanner and San2pdf2rob wrote:My personal feeling is, I'm not sure that there would be a reason to port ScanTailor to Android or iOS. One thing id encourage the trunk towards is using a good 0S Abstraction library that supports linux distros, Mac, win, etc. Not sure how much that would help with an soic 0s like android but may...
