A little off topic but in the field of us archivists. I am converting some microfilm and the quality of the conversion deals greatly on previous use and if the film is dusty or not.
What I want to know is how to clean microfilm. I was thinking a dunk tank on a chemical but I know some can soften the film. Obviously scrubbing is out .
If anyone has any experience I would love to hear from them
