Scanner wanted - Seattle

Post by waldemar »

I've been doing destructive scanning for several years, and would love to switch over to this system instead. I wish I had the time for a build, but that's not happening right now. Anyone in the Pacific NW who has a scanner (with or without cameras) they're interested in selling? I'm interested in buying!

Thanks,
waldemar

I would love to ride on Waldemar's request. I too am in the Pacific Northwest and don't have the talent, resources or want to build my own book scanner, but would love to buy or share one.

I have volunteered to scan our local high schools treasure trove of yearbooks, newspapers and old pictures but working with delicate book spines is troublesome.

Please post here if anyone can help us out. Thanks so much!

user mellow-yellow has installed a New Standard Scanner at Brainsilo in PDX - I'm pretty sure you can try that machine out...
