Cool.

Though it's funded and otherwise for-sure, a solid date has yet to be set. I'll be sure to give you more info when I have it.

I still haven't received the last few bits, and I'll be gone this weekend for some family stuff. Expect these to be done in the coming week or so. Sorry for the delay, I underestimated shipping times from Hong Kong.

Sounds good, let me know where to send payment (preferably PayPal).

I would prefer payment via PayPal as well. I'll send payment information to everyone the moment I'm ready to ship.

I almost completed the handles tonight. I'll want to test each one before shipping, so it might be another day or two until they make it out the door.

OK guys, I have the handles all done and I'm almost ready to ship them.

One thing -- they are exactly as pictured above. The handle is self-mounting, obviously, but there is no mounting hardware of any kind for the battery box. It could easily be stuck down with double-sided tape or epoxied to your book scanner -- if you were careful you could also open it up and screw through the bottom of it for a more permanent mount.

The alternative is that I would cut a small acrylic plate with screw holes at each corner and epoxy it to the box for you. Any thoughts here?

I don't need a plate. If I decide it needs to be stuck someplace, I'll figure out where and how to stick it.

Aside from my interest in seeing a real, live piece of acrylic that's been cut by a laser, I don't really need a plate, either.

Hey, can that laser handle a 12" vinyl LP? I'm thinking that as part of my increasingly minimalist lifestyle, maybe I can convert some of those to sculptures, since I really no longer use them for playing music.
