Needing to buy scanner for dyslexic

I am very interested in a quality scanner for the use of scanning entire books for the Kurzweil text-to-speech program. I have used this program for a few years now with great benefit. I am located in the Tennessee area but am willing to drive a decent drive if pickup is better than delivery. You may private message me if you like. Thank you very much.
