DIY Book Scanner Beta Kits Available At Maker Faire today!

Post by daniel_reetz »

Ace Monster Toys are selling a neat DIY book scanner kit at Maker Faire.

They've got instructions here (pics coming soon). I will try to get a picture posted ASAP.

Get in touch with them via twitter or their website. Or PM user "miles".

Interesting! Unfortunately, when I follow the link I am unable to see the pics since I am not a member of that community.
Do you know how much the kit costs?

The pics are broken because they haven't put them up yet - the kits were going for $60, not sure what they're asking now.

Thanks for the info! $60 sounds fair for what I have seen on their blog.

They now have pictures online but I still cannot find an online shop... and contacting them is likewise not easy.

I tried to contact them too, no luck. If anyone finds out how to order a kit, please post it.
