Help, can't post pictures

Post by BillGill » 08 Dec 2017, 10:31

For several months now I have not been able to post pictures on DIY Book Scanner. I'm not sure what started it, but it is now getting to be a problem, because I have built a new scanner and need to post some pictures to show it.

I follow the normal steps to post the picture. I click the Attachments tab, then the Add Files button. The File Upload box opens and I select the file or files I want to post. When I press the Open button the file is downloaded, but the STATUS shows a yellow triangle. When I click on the triangle the response is "The image file you tried to attach is invalid." I have tried this on 2 different computers, one Win 7 and the other Win 10, and get the same response in both cases. I can post pictures on Facebook with no problem. These are normal JPG pictures.

Can anybody help me? I would really like to pass the information about my new scanner on to the community.

Ok. Looks like I've managed to fix this. Give it another try yourself.
