Podcast of interest to BKscanners - hardware peer to peer

Post by victoriaaustralia »

This is an interesting discussion from the C-Realm podcast that may be of interest to Bookscanner types:
http://c-realm.com/podcasts/crealm/392- ... trialogue/

It is a talk between Michel Bauwens, Dmytri Kleiner and John Restakis, hosted by the normal C-Realm host KMO about some elements of how open source software has done so well to allow people to share ideas and increase knowledge wealth. How can we use some those ideas in the hardware realm? There is some rather opaque economic philosophy in the podcast and some political agitation about ways to achieve a communist paradise but the parts about better ways to allow groups to make their collective ideas work is interesting.

Book Scanner people will likely enjoy a good deal of the C-Realm podcasts, such as this one about a Homebrew Industrial Revolution: A Low-Overhead Manifesto:
