Minimum Digitization Capture Recommendations

Post by ycpdan »

Hello,

I my research found this page put out by The Association for Library Collections and Technical Services Preservation and Reformatting Section, and discusses their research and best practices for Books and Textual Based Materials Without Images (non-rare)

It has a great discussion of how resolution increases so does the file size and a few other topics I thought this board would enjoy

Let me know if you find it helpful. On a side note is anyone else working with libraries?

Thanks for the link. Scann in Argentina is working with several libraries and the Wikimedia foundation, and I know at least a dozen active users are here as well...
