Hi Hasan,
Sorry if this is too late. If you're still working on this, here are two things to try:

* Use the SANE driver if you can: http://www.sane-project.org/
The driver controls the calibration and the open source driver is probably not as strict as the official one.

* Unplug the motor and front assembly, everything except the scan bar. The front assembly has a limit sensor which is probably waiting to be triggered, but it works for me if it's unplugged.

You'll still need to provide a white surface when the scanner first starts up, but after that it should work.
