Output sort changed

Post by blackdesert »

Hey folks,

im really happy about everything scan tailor does but at this point im going totally crazy. After input my images and process them in ST the output tif is totally rearranged. there is another sort than inside the tool.

heres the way i do it:

-Got a PDF with the scanned book.
-use PDF-XChange Viewer to export as JPEG Images
-got following sort: 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg....10.jpg, 11.jpg... etc

-input ST an process. (split screen!..)
-result of my tif files. sort changed: 1.tif, 10_1L.tif, 10_1R.tif, 100_1L.tif, 100_1R.tif ..... 151_1R.tif, 16_1L.tif...????
-merge them and "print" as pdf.
-finish..

anybody some help?

kind regards,
bd

.. of the PDF-XChange Viewer?

The other way is to renumber the files so that the file name starts with a letter and then a counter with, say, three digits.

I use the freecommander for that, which is, as the name suggests a replacement for the Windows explorer with the two-pane-facing window introduced first decades ago by the Norton Commander, and as again the suggests, completely free.
