Hola Daniel
Bien hecho - su escáner se ve excelente. Me gusta cómo usaste la iluminación. Y las fotos del libro parecen muy claras.

Is there an updated complete parts list for this?
Also, David, do you think your design will work for small pocket paperbacks from the 1960s?

Re: A new scanner design using plastic tubing
In response to your question about using this design for capturing paperbacks, it probably wouldn't work well. I have been scanning paperbacks and they frequently have very small gutter margins. The V shaped designs don't work well under those conditions because they can't see right down into the gutter. I have switched from a design somewhat like that one to a different one. Mine is shown in post viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3418. I have been having much better results since I made the switch.

Thanks. Do you have diagrams or plans posted anywhere?

I don't have plans, but the pictures in my post should give a general idea of how to build one. I generally don't build to plan, I think about it for a while and then just grab some material and start building.
