Scan Tailor Automatic Select Content question

Re: Scan Tailor Automatic Select Content question
Is it the original pixel size? If so, it's way too low and you probably had to cheat with the DPI to get it accepted by Scan Tailor. You can't count on good results under such circumstances. If not, please provide the original images.
Scan Tailor experimental doesn't output 96 DPI images. It's just what your software shows when DPI information is missing. Usually what you get is input DPI times the resolution enhancement factor.

What do you mean? These are the real images I used (scanned at 300 dpi - grayscale).
EDIT: You are right. That POS of a image hosting has messed up my images. Here are the correct ones.

Re: Scan Tailor Automatic Select Content question
OK. This one was easy enough to fix by removing some obsolete code. So it's fixed in Git.

Re: Scan Tailor Automatic Select Content question
Thank you Tulon. Forgive my ignorance but, what is Git?
EDIT: According to Google, it's a fast version Control System. I think I will wait for you to release a new binary.

Re: Scan Tailor Automatic Select Content question
to retrieve files from git you need to type:
git clone git address
git clone git address
Re: Scan Tailor Automatic Select Content question
Is that for Linux? I am on Windows.
Re: Scan Tailor Automatic Select Content question
Git contains the source code, which is the same for Linux and for Windows. That being said, building the Windows version is much more complex than building the Linux one. So, I would suggest waiting for the next beta.

Agreed. I am not too familiar with compilers...
